Made a last minute plan to visit Kozhikode(Calicut). Took the morning KSRTC bus from Satellite Bus station in bengaluru, reached Calicut around 10 PM. Bus passed through Mandya, Mysore, Gundlupete, Bandipur Tiger reserve, Wayanad(Muthanga, Sulthan Bathery, Kalpetta, Vythiri), Thamarasserry. The journey was beautiful. Lakkidi view point worth a picture.

Next day, went to the Kozhikode beach, visited couple of places, and the market. People were helpful and food was good. I saw many shops selling lottery tickets, and a lot of people buying it hoping to win the jackpot. It was a quick visit, on return journey took a Kerala state bus from Kozhikode to Mysore, and changed to Karnataka state bus from Mysore to Bangalore.
