Checked-out from Zostel in the morning, kept one of my bags at Zostel. Plan was to see some of the places in and around Kodaikanal. We were 4 people, booked a 4x4 for day tour for 4000 INR.

Visited Pillar Rocks, Guna cave, Pine forest and Moir point, there were a lot of monkeys at Guna cave.

Our next stop was the beautiful Mannavanur lake, followed by a visit to nearby sheep farm. On our way back to Kodaikanal, we visited the colorful Poombarai village, drank a tea there. The view of the Poombarai village with terraced fields from the top was beautiful. Our last stop was, the beautiful Palani Hill view point.

Came back to Zostel, picked my bag and headed to Kodaikanal bus station. There were still 30 minutes left in bus departure, quickly walked to Ihaan Biryani shop near bus station, ate a biryani and sipped a tea at a shop opposite to bus station.

Boarded the SETC bus (Tamilnadu state transport) from Kodaikanal bus station, to Bangalore.
