Reached Cairo from Luxor in morning by GoBus, walked to Holy Sheet hostel, cleaned myself. Ate breakfast and drank tea, took some rest, then got ready to go to Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Booked a taxi through inDrive, bought the entrance ticket, Grand Egyptian museum is really grand.

There is so much to see in GEM, you can easily spend 4-5 hours there. Rameses II's giant statue and Tutankhamun's golden mask were really most attractive to the people. Also saw Khufu's boat, and I was tired and hungry after seeing all of this.

Booked a taxi to reach hostel, got a Hawawshi and beef with bread from Kazaz restaurant.Took rest, and in the evening I walked to Khan el-Khalili bazaar, bought 2 packets of dates from a shop in Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Al Azhar Mosque was beautifully lit up at night.
