Taking the public ferry across the Nile from West Bank to the East Bank in Luxor
Woke up early, drank a tea, got ready. Tried booking a taxi through inDrive to reach Valley of the Kings, but none of the drivers were accepting the request. After walking a bit, finally one driver accepted the ride, reached Valley of the Kings.
Bought the ticket of Valley of the Kings, for 750 EGP, which included entry to three tombs. I visited tomb of Rameses IV, Rameses IX and Merenptah. After visiting Valley of the Kings, I booked a taxi to reach Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut.
Bought the ticket of Hatshepsut temple for 440 EGP, more than 3000 years old, a well preserved mortuary temple with 3 levels, a beautiful ancient architecture.
Came back to hostel, took rest and in the evening, took the public ferry across Nile to reach East bank. Ate food and drank a tea at Kaya Restoz, on the Nile Corniche. Walked to Luxor temple, bought ticket to Luxor temple for 500 EGP.
In the night, I had to catch a GoBus from Luxor to Cairo. Went back to my hostel, got my bags, boarded the public ferry and rushed to GoBus Luxor station. Reached GoBus Luxor station on time, got some food items packed from shops opposite to GoBus station, and boarded the bus to Cairo.
