Iset River, Yekaterinburg

In morning I went on a walk towards the Lenina Avenue, saw the Nicholas II house, and yet another Lenin statue on the 1905 Square. Also walked along the pathway around the Iset river. Streets were quite decorated as the city marks 300 years of Yekaterinburg in 2023. What I felt is, the city is growing and expanding.

After spending some time walking around the streets, came back to hostel. Packed my bags, checked out from hostel, booked a Yandex to reach Vokzal. Ate at the same place, also got some Samsa packed for my train journey. Purchased a souvenir from the shop outside Vokzal. The Rossiya train number 2 was on track 3, boarded the train, train departed at 11:48 AM.

On the opposite seat there was a Babushka, her name was Lidiya, I talked with her, I showed her some pictures from my travel, she told me that she have 3 daughters, 2 are in Tyumen and 1 is in Novosibirsk. I told her that I'm reading a book on Gulag, she immediately said Solzhenitsyn, I said no, the book is from Anna Applebaum. She got down at Tyumen, few people boarded the train at Tyumen. I ate some food, drank some tea and went to sleep.
