I was planning to visit Russia to see Moscow, St.Petersburg and also to do Trans Siberian Journey to Vladivostok. I wanted to run in the Moscow Marathon which was on 17th September, but I was late to register for it. I registered for Vladivostok International Marathon VII which was on 30th September, it would be great to end my Trans Siberian journey with running a 10KM in Vladivostok International Marathon.

I applied for eVisa on Russian Federation eVisa site, after 1 week got my eVisa approved, with which I could stay for 16 days in Russia.

I also added one day visit to St. Petersburg with my Trans Siberian journey. My other stops on the Trans Siberian journey were Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude and finally Vladivostok.

I booked an Air Arabia flight from New Delhi to Moscow which had a layover in Sharjah, the connecting flight from Sharjah to Moscow was also with Air Arabia.

For return journey, I booked Air Arabia flight from Moscow to New Delhi which had a layover in Sharjah, the connecting flight from Sharjah to Delhi was also with Air Arabia.
